Fees for or one experienced photographer:

*NOTE: We offer Digital photo quality upgrades on request  before your shoot:

A)  Upgrade to TIFF Medium images (for even better prints).........: add $20.00 per 25
images taken: Approx. size: 9.5 MB uncompressed, resolution 2240 x 1488

B) Upgrade to TIFF Large images (for very large prints)................:add $25.00 per 25
Approx. size: 17.3 MB uncompressed, resolution 3008 x 2000

C) Upgrade to Nikon COMP. NEF RAW images to computer............: add $47.50 per 25
Approx. size: 4.25 MB, loss-less compression ratio 1:2

D) Upgrade to Nikon NEF RAW images to computer......................: add $59.50 per 25
Approx. size: 9.4 MB, uncompressed.

(An image ‘usage fee’ may be charged on top where images are required for advertising and promotional purposes) Prices include photography, editing, general retouching and color enhancement, for work carried out during standard o ice hours. For large commercial projects please contact me for a more accurate quotation.

Expenses
I am happy to work on location in the US and abroad subject to mutually agreed
accommodation and travel arrangements. US Travel $0.45 per mile.
Models / studio hire / make-up / assistant /props, etc. – charged at cost and may be required in advance, depending on scale of shoot. Specialist equipment / camera hire will be charged in addition to the above if required for a particular shoot. Elaborate retouching will be charged by the hour if necessary to complete brief @ $60 per hour

Formats & Delivery
I use professional-quality Nikon camera equipment and lenses and Apple Macintosh computers for post-processing. If larger formats are required, this can be organized. Images can be delivered on-line via a secure server or on DVD and come with an agreement to use the images, with no individual licensing fees. Images may be used in US marketing and promotional material commissioned by your company. This allows you to use the images on your website, brochures and other US promotional material on a perpetual basis without additional cost

General Terms
Copyright of all images remains the property of Abacus Photography unless otherwise
arranged. Fees for advertising and similar promotional image use may be considerably higher
than the daily rate quoted above, depending on the scale of the campaign and where and how
the images will be used. Payment terms ~ Strictly 14 days from date of invoice.

Pricing for weddings are split into packages:

Package 1: 'the cost saver' -  budget package
 For those on a tight budget but still want a professional photographer for their special day.

Includes:

•  services of a professional photographer
•  images stored on Kodak Gold CD/DVD archival media                    
•  Up to four hours of photographic service
•  three locations: i.e. Church, Gardens & Reception.
•  Additional time at $170.00 per hour (min 1 hour)

 Cost: $1200.00

Package 2: 'the standard' - standard package
 For those that can spend a little more but still on a budget.

 Includes:

•  services of a professional photographer
•  images stored on Kodak Gold CD/DVD archival media                
•  Up to six hours of photographic service
•  Four locations i.e.:  Brides house, Church, Gardens & Reception.
•  Additional time at $150.00 per hour (min 1 hour)

 Cost: $1600.00

Package 3: 'the gold pack' -  full coverage package
 For those that want the services of a professional photographer with a little bit extra

 Includes:

•  services of a professional photographer & assistant
•  images stored on CD/DVD archival media
•  Digital Album
•  Coffee Table Photo Book
•  1 x A3 digital print of your choice or 2 x A4 digital prints
•  Up to eight hours of photographic services
•  unlimited locations* (time/distance depending)  

 *Note: additional costs if outside of CBD.  Additional time at $120.00 per hour (min 1 hour)

 Cost: $3200.00

Custom: - 'The Custom'
customize your our package to suit your needs
 For those that want a bit more control and input on their special day
       

 Minimum Cost: $1200.00

Payment Terms
Opt 1: Direct Debit Deposit of $250.00 (Fully Refundable*) up to one month prior to wedding day with balance on the day in CASH ONLY.
Opt 2:  Direct debit Two weeks prior to wedding – Full payment
Opt 3:  Day of wedding: CASH ONLY – Full payment
Sorry no personal checks or credit cards accepted.
 PAYPAL accepted but with surcharge of 5% to cover fees.
