Home Theater PC
A home theater PC, or HTPC for short, is a personal computer connected to a television or a television-sized computer display. It is often used as a digital photo, music, and video player, TV receiver, and digital video recorder. Home theater PCs are also referred to as media center systems or media servers.

For the past couple of years, we were told by the industry to expect plenty of options for PC based home entertainment systems for the lounge room but it didn’t really happen. Both Intel and AMD pushed their respective Viiv and Live! platforms but neither really made any type of major impression. | Blu-ray/HD/DVD Playback and Recording |
The AHS700 comes with a high speed Blu-ray/ HD drive to playback next generation Blur-ay titles. You can also record from 25GB to 50GB of data onto a single layer or dual layer Blur-ay disc. The drive is also backward compatible with music CD and DVD playback and recording. The AHS700 comes with 1 Terabytes of high speed SATA storage to transfer your whole CD collection or record up to 500 hours (200 hours at DVD quality) of video onto the internal hard drive. You can also create your own Blur-ay movies and DVD's with the unit's built in drive. |

| High Definition Audio and Video Connectivity |
The AHS700, like other Digital Entertainment systems, has built-in Dolby Digital Live Encoding. This allows you to enjoy movies, games, and music at the highest quality with full Dolby Digital output. As with all Okoro Media Systems HTPC, you can connect to many different types of audio receivers, PC speaker systems, TVs and monitors. You can connect to your audio device via Toslink or Digital Coaxial cable for Dolby 5.1, 6.1, or 7.1 output. You can also connect to your TV via HDMI, Component (via adapter), VGA, or DVI(via adapter) for HDTV output. |
